In the 18th round the Phillies select another college RHP in Malik Binns from Benedictine U Mesa (he is listed as a senior, but is actually a JuCo transfer)
Binns has big size (6’7″ 240lbs), but has struggled with control on the mound, walking over 5 per 9 this college season. In the Appalachian League (now a college league) he was reportedly 95-97. Definitely a size and arm strength pick at this point.
