The Phillies followed a college bat in the 12th, with another in the 13th in Shepherd University OF Jared Carr.
Carr isn’t ranked anywhere so this is very much going on stats, and the stats are very there. He hit .375/.447/.727 with 11 HRs in 37 games this year. His career college line is .385/.454/.646. The strikeout and walk numbers aren’t great, but also not a disaster. He does, however, seem to hit the ball often and hard. Carr played center field both for Shepherd and for Wilson (Coastal Plains League).
