Noted hater of your favorite prospect and team, Keith Law, has kicked off his minor league rankings with his farm system rankings. Not a lot to go on here other than optimism. The Phillies come in at #6 and are behind the Braves, Dodgers, Twins, Cubs, and Brewers. I would take the Phillies’ system over a few in front of them on Law’s list while taking a few of the ones behind them over the Phillies. I think the 6-10 range is about where the system will be on most rankings, which is very good considering they graduated Nola and Franco this year, and the biggest piece of the Ken Giles’ trade, Vincent Velasquez is not prospect eligible.
