From the first plans of creating my own site, it was never going to be a solo project. I think the best thing that one can do to learn is to always be a place where there are smart people talking, and just listen. So my goal was always to open this up for smart people to say smart things.
What Writing Here Entails:
Content: In many ways this is open ended, right now with the site starting out there is room to shape what you want to write about. In general the focus is on the Phillies minor league system, but there is room for expansion into overall perspectives on the minor leagues including looks at how other organizations find and develop baseball players.
Time Commitment: Whatever you want – if you feel you can only contribute a good piece once a month, that is perfectly fine. If you want to write more, there is room for that too
Pay: Unfortunately right now I lose money keeping this site up, otherwise I would love to compensate all the writers here. I can offer dinner and a beer if you are ever in Madison, Wisconsin if that helps as an incentive
