I know the stats don’t tell the whole story, but other than the injuries that’s a pretty nice start for the top 11.
Pitchers and batters competing to see who can have the lowest BB:K ratio?
Hoskins at 37 on the top 50 parade leading Phillies org in HRs.
It’s good to see Hoskins hitting like he is, but I need to see him do the same at Clearwater before I start to get a little hopeful about him. He should be raking at Lakewood if he’s any kind of 1B prospect.
Gotta love what Hoskins and Canelo have done too. I’m really hoping that Sandberg starts getting on base more. I haven’t seen him play yet, but it sure seems like he’s been unlucky. He’s cut his strikeout rate in half (from 19.8% to 10.5%) and has a BABIP of .250. Something has to give, right?
Pointer is the guy who snuck up on me. I didn’t really that his May had been this good. Those are very good stats for him.
