Lumping some Day 3 picks together.
12th round – Jordan Dissin, C, Saddleback College (CA)
A close to home kid who went to Malvern Prep, but then to University of Richmond and now Saddleback College (a California JuCo) before heading to UCSD next year. He hitting .393/.505/.577 last year with 33 walks to 35 strikeouts in 45 games.

13th round – Cade Fergus, OF, George Washington University
Fergus is a college senior (though young for his class), but he is not a safe pick. He has ++ speed and looks like he can play center field. He has plus raw power, and started to tap into this year with 13 home runs and 34 extra base hits, hitting .315/.405/.601 on the season. However, 15 walks and 53 strikeouts is a terrifying look behind the curtain at the approach and contact numbers. Big swing here with a lot more upside than you usually get at this point.
PHI grabs CF Cade Fergus (George Washington) in R13. Power/speed combo, pro body, physicality to handle himself in the box and range to handle himself in CF. Lots of whiffs and breaking ball struggles, but a really strong set of tools to get on Day 3. https://t.co/kqDT9bDIMP

14th round – Bryan Rincon, SS, Shaler Area HS (PA)
The Phillies went with another HS hitter in Pittsburgh area shortstop Bryan Rincon. Rincon moved to the states from Venezuela in 2020 and it looks like he put up his HS numbers with a wood bat. It seems his defense is praised. He is committed to San Jacinto College, which is a noted JuCo for producing draftees.
15th round – Troy Schreffler, OF, Maryland
Schreffler is a college junior who looks to have not gotten regular playing time until this season. The strikeout number (64 in 294 plate appearances) are a bit scary, but large uptick in walks this season. Overall another college performer as Schreffler hit .340/.421/.557 this past season.
