The Phillies wrapped up their draft with a strong last 5 picks. No neoptism, just more JuCo and HS players to try and sign.
Sorry it is all a bit thin, I will see what I can find.
Round 36: Joe Breaux, OF, McLennan CC
“Joe Bro” went only a few picks before his brother Josh, and easily takes the award for the best name in the draft. Breaux hit .356/.476/.614 this year with 50 strikeouts in 65 games.
Round 37: Edouard Julien, 2B, Cardinal Roy SS
The Phillies took a Canadian! According the BA, Julien is a plus plus runner with a loose handsy swing. He will need to put on weight and the Phillies will need to buy him out of an Auburn commitment.
Round 38: Landon Gray, C, Weatherford College
Junior College catcher who hit .344/.443/.518 with some power and plate discipline. You can never have too many catchers.
Round 39: D.J. Stewart, 3B, Westminster Christian Academy
Stewart was a 2-way player in HS and is committed to Eastern Illinois.
Round 40: Paul Coumoulos, OF, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic HS
Committed to the College of Central Florida.
