Introducing the Writing Team

Thanks to everyone that has stopped by as we get going here, the positive feedback has been great.  I just wanted to take a minute to welcome the other people who are contributing here.

Matthew Speck has already contributed some pieces for the site.  This is his first time writing about baseball but he has written about the development process in hockey and we hope that he continues that great work exploring prospect development in baseball. (follow Matt on Twitter)

Cole Miller has just joined us with his first piece on how the Phillies pitching depth stacks up with injuries and the influx of new arms from the draft. (follow Cole on Twitter)

Chris King is a member of the Baseball Prospectus Prospect team, and will be lending his knowledge on the GCL and FSL as he sees players.  I greatly recommend following him on Twitter and reading his reports on Baseball Prospectus (if they are behind the pay wall you should probably just take the opportunity to sign up, it is worth it). I am glad to have these guys on board so that we can provide a diversity of opinions on topics and not just me repeating the same things over and over again.

There is still room to contribute in writing articles, just send me an email, DM on twitter, post in comments, and we can see what works.  If you have more time and would like to help, there is a lot of behind the scenes projects that need work, including creating prospect profiles and other informational resources.

Once again thank you to everyone for their support.
