3 Phillies in MLB.com’s Top 100 prospects

MLB.com continues their prospect rankings with their Top 100 prospects.  On their positional lists J.P. Crawford came in as the #5 SS and Maikel Franco was the #5 3B.  The Phillies follow that up with 3 players on the Top 100 with Crawford leading the way at #21, Aaron Nola at #37, and Franco at #55.  After missing the RHP list, it looks like Nola ended up as the #16 RHP on the list.

I think overall the list is a bit low on Crawford who I would take in front of the pitching group in front of him.  Nola seems fairly accurate to me.  Franco also seems fair, and possibly a bit high, but nothing drastic.

  1. Matt,

Which Phils prospects, if any, do you think have the best chance of jumping in to the top 100 after this coming season?

    • Well im not Matt, but Id say with a good year without injuries and the some stellar CF defense it has got to be Quinn, I believe he was already there before he was hurt and, still has the best wheels in the organization if he can steal 40 hit 280 ish with say 10 HR, which reading is a HR friendly spot he has to garner some consideration for 90 -100
